Dear All,

We wanted to let interested sound recordists know about the launch of our Kickstarter project for a new calibrated ambisonic microphone. Ambisonics is a technique for recording the entire sound image at a single point from which virtually any microphone pattern and playback format can be created in post processing. Use of ambisonics has not seen widespread adoption because of technology and price limitations.

Awesome. I will contribute. Should the Kickstart succeed, do you intend to offer similar prices on subsequent sales as those found in the campaign levels?

That will be superb, the campaign has got a little flat, so a pre-order would be much appreciated.

We are not sure what the price will be after, I assume we shall raise it as we have to make this profitable, we're just about going to break even if the campaign succeeds. We won't bring it lower than the Kickstarter prices as we have to reward the people who had faith in us.
