When I was a boy I thought they produced that sound by rubbing mustache.
Never got enough of toys

Different moustaches produced different sounds...

Actually that VST is interesting because it contains samples from various types of Jaw Harp.
There is a selector in there for what instrument to use. There were something like 100 different samples, although they were not all from different instruments there was still a lot of variety.
