New Sony, PCM-D100 is in the game.

Device looks great on specs.

Price - better don't ask.

But after D50 - this one might be the ultimate choice for portable quality solutions.

Right now I'm trying to compare with some other stuff (like Nagra or sort like that).

Good computer would cost you 2x-4x that much .

But yeah, I appreciate the sounding quality within PCM-D50, so having things even better would be very nice. As for price - We will see; hopefully it will drop a little bit soon.

...and as usual - great device with no "audio interface" mode support, just mass storage (at least according what they say in thomann). You can't use it as an external sound card / mic, like with Olympus LS-100.
