Here is an amazing short film and I love the weird theramin sound on it. Does anyone know how to make this sound using effects or some sort of processor. So it sounds old/analogue? Great film by the way.

thanks for the link, great film and a precious site.
I think the sounds in the movie comes from an analog synthesizer.
my advice is to take a look at http://www.tucows.com/ where you can legally download applications with free or shareware license or as a demo.
choose "Mac" on the upper bar then search for "synthesizer": it gives 14 results. the first, "Fineline", is a freeware synth.
synthesizer are not easy to manage, that's why I never used it. the theremin voice can be imitated bending a sound, or playing notes with a high portamento value - but this way you have only a single voice, not all those variations as in the movie.
