External soundcard for Datrecorder-laptop connection

Hi there,
I would like to copy sound files from my Sony Datrecorder via analogue out (earphone) to my laptop via USB. I know that i have to use a external soundboard for that. I' m not very sure which type/model to use. Could anybody here give advices?
