I'm looking for the best software to use for a podcast, specifically tv sounds like laugh and applause tracks. I'm also looking to learn how to isolate sound from youtube clips to use for the podcast. I can compensate for the information. Thanks

You need a "soundboard", (hardware or software), e.g. Jingle Palette.
