What sound software is this interface from?

Hi all! I want to understand what kind of program or program interface is shown in the screenshot below. I couldn't find anything myself. I can only say that this software is quite old, and it was released before the beginning of 2000. The screenshot was taken while watching a film about sound in cinema called "Making Waves". This software was used by Dane Davis when creating the sound design for the film The Matrix. I ask for help, maybe someone will know.
I know about Dane Davis and the original Matrix because it's one of my top films for sound design and just in general.
What you're seeing is not a DAW but a plug-in that is part of the suite called 'GRM Tools' by ina, a collection of sound design and processing tools. Although I'm not too sure which one this is exactly, it's hard to tell what processing this does to audio apart from sampling.
If you're interested in this topic, I can tell you that DD also relied heavily on U&I 'MetaSynth', the weird and whacky sound design program, look it up. Those slow-motion bullet fly-bys you hear in the film were created with this tool.

Thanks for the responses guys! Just got to the computer. This is certainly not WaveLab, Soundforge or ProTools and GoldWave.

Headphase! Yes, The Matrix and its sound design for me is also like some kind of masterpiece sound design and cinema in general. I know about MetaSynth. But I'm not a Mac user, unfortunately. I will add that Dane also used SoundHack plugins. Also an interesting thing. I somehow forgot about GRM Tools. Memory is not to hell apparently. And only now I remembered that he mentioned this in articles that seem to be on the site filmsound.org. He used these plug-ins, according to the brief clip shown in the movie Making Waves, to create Neo's Scream. Thanks for the tip. Moreover, I have these plugins somewhere. I played with them a long time ago and forgot. Thanks again!
