Hi folks,
hopefully there's a clever DJ here who can help.
I have a vocoder sample i recorded for a track we did at 120bpm.
We're now trying to remix the tune at 125bpm.
Is there a simple calculation we can do to convert the 120bpm file to 125bpm?
We use Reason, and we don't want to PITCH the sample up, simply pass it thru a SPEED conversion on the wav editor.
Is there a basic perecentage calculation that allows us to do this???
thanks for your time.
Hi mwpsongs,
I have no idea how your software works, but the speed ratio you need is to multiply by 0.96 times or use 96%. That is the exact ratio to convert 120bpm to 125 bpm.
I don't know if this helps.
