Hello there,
I wanted to try out binaural recording, and the soundman OKM II seemed like the thing, but a bit out of my price range and I saw no point of reference for the OKM I, I decided to try them out anyway.
Reporting that I'm very happy, they're perfectly fine to me. Good sensitivity (I'm at 3 gain on my zoom recorder, as opposed to 9-10), the binaural effect works well, sound quality is good enough.
I don't feel the need tu upgrade to a OKM II or something.
You can hear some demos here (please use headphones / IEMS) : https://freesound.org/people/Sadiquecat/packs/38914/
Along with my inexperienced reviewer video on it

Some negatives :
-Needs an audio recorder / can't use say a phone, (obviously, but depending on the size of the recorder that's a in your pocket VS a in your backpack deal) A usb C version would be cool.
-The mounts are spikey in ear, not a comfortable thing.
- If moving a lot, the cable can be a tricky thing to get right, over the ear pops off, and dangling straight can get tugged and or have friction. It's a little thing and there are clips in the box.
Overall, for 60€ good mics if one wants to do binaural!
