Hello - I am very new to the world of sound, having recently started downloading gong sounds to my computer. I have one very nice gong sound (wav) that lasts for about twenty seconds. I would like to figure out how to have my computer play this gong sound at ten minute intervals. Can anyone give me some simple instructions for that? As currently configured the file is being played through Windows Media Player. Any advice will be most welcome. Thank you.

You should probably search the web for some sort of alarm clock program that can play a custom alarm sound. I don't use windows much so I don't have any recommendations. Basically, set a recurring alarm every ten minutes, and tell it to use your wav file. You might have to download and try a couple different programs before you find one that suits your needs. Windows itself might have a built-in alarm function, I don't know.
Hope this helps.
