Hi all
I am looking for a good mid-side microphone and Audio technica 4029 seems good.
Is here anyone who has got experience using this mic.
I would appreciate any feedback about it or if you know other mics that you would recommend.
Mainly the mic will be used on field.
Many thanks in advance.
I really enjoy this freesound project.
Marko
I bought a BP4029 fairly recently, mainly with wildlife recordings in mind. Here are a couple of examples using the BP4029 in with the narrow stereo setting:
Blackbirds at 4am:

I was after a stereo shotgun mic and the BP4029 was one of the cheaper options. At around 9 inches/23 cm long, it fits into my Rode blimp as well.
