Dear Folks,
I am wondering how do I get a processed voice like Kanye West. I know it is some type of filter, but I don't know what type it is.
Please advise!

Yep, a vocoder; criminals use it to disguise their voices on the phone.
Probably is autotune or vocoder but which song do you mean? If it's stronger it's definitely a vocoder.
well to be honest he uses both because he cant sing and his voice sound better like a robot
but it works well in his songs because theyre all sick tunes.
a vocoder is definately a major possible but the antarea autotune can be programmed very strong and may sound like it!!
Reaper is a really great DAW that has some decent vocoder effects in the plugin package (With endless options in the realm of DX/VST).

recently. The technical term for the process is vocoding.
ok, I always thought, that only vocoder do vocoding. Well, always learning
