it´s possible to produce DNB/HARDCORE/INDUDTRIAL with ableton live ? since i´ve MAC OX i don´t no who is the best software to make this type of music, some people says logic , reason and cubase . for a possible answer i left my mail saturnalia___@hotmail.

Yes, it's possible to make just about any kind of music, definitely any kind of electronic music, with Ableton. I have used Logic, Reason, Cubase, and Pro Tools, as well as Acid and Fruityloops, and I can honestly say Ableton is the best, all things considered. The only complaint I have about Ableton is the levels meters -- they're too thin and you can't toggle between that size and a larger, more visible width. Cubase has nice levels meters, but looping is a pain.

Basically, if you record bands playing instruments, probably either Cubase or Pro Tools is better. As to Reason, some people find the interface intuitive; personally, though I like Reason, I find the interface too 'literal' in its graphical mapping to physical hardware, and in the end it tends to get in my way. Reason does have some nice synthesizer sounds, but I am a sampler-oriented user, and the sampler (called Simpler) in Ableton is perfect for me; as to Ableton's synthesizers, they are adequate to my purposes, though I would have to acknowledge that Reason's are better. However, in the end, when I want a synthesizer sound, I craft it in Absynth and record some samples, then plug those into Simpler, and end of story.

well to be honest the guy is right
it really depends on you which one you like and you need to just try whichever you like

i personally find ableton great for composing dnb and trance tracks
cubase is a just above average all rounder
logic and pro tools can take some getting used to but are great (i personally use logic with reason)
reason, fruity loops and other sequencers are very good and have some brilliant features and sounds.
just go crazy with free software. try them vigourosly and then see which one you like.

for hardore/dnb etc i would personally wouldnt bother to make it on reason or ableton. you just have to do some extensive editing. the software doesnt do it for you, if you know what you do then you will be fine!

The music is in you my friend ......Not any program ,Vst etc....These are merly tools to aid us.....Research..Research...Research...Find your style...And know the techniques used to achieve your desired sound....Knowledge is power...Check out videos by Sonic Academy..They cover many genres and are very informative...Just Google- Sonic Academy drum and bass tutorial and there you go.....
