Hellar!
I'm looking at buying a Microphone primarily for recording Vocals, usually female ones, within a studio environment, and I was wondering if any of you lot can suggest any models you've been impressed by or believe to be worth a look at.
Its got to be around the £150-£200 mark, not sure what that is in USD, euros or whatever.
Cheers in advance!
200 pounds is $350 US right now. For that kind of money, and what you want to record, I'd try out a Rodes. http://www.rode.com.au/ Great sounding, but affordable, Australian mics that have gotten great reviews. Check out the NT-1A, NT-1000, and NT-2A.
i use rodes for vocals at college, and their sound is pretty good. The one we use i saw in a shop for about £170 i think...
hehe, its sounding pretty unanimous.
cheers for your input guys. yeah Rode is an option im definately considering, my boss/mentor has one and ive heard alot of good things.
sweet.
