Now, this looks a bit dodgy to me. I'm Tossing up between the H4n and this, and I'm wondering if I'd be better of with this as it has the occasional video function, however it looks a little cumbersome to use for sound recording. Thoughts?
Looks like it is targeted for people who want to upload to You Tube. The audio on the majority of You Tube videos leaves a lot to be desired. Though it can record audio only, with the same mics as the H4n there is no provision for mic-in or line-in.
As for cumbersome, it is not all that big,watch the vid in the following link.

If it were me, I would go with an H2 instead. Even the H4N is very nice (I have one of those as well), but the portability isnt there. Had they made the Q3 with the 4 mics like the H2 AND a camera in the same sized package, I would probably buy it.
Of course, if you are looking for XLR inputs and the like then forget the above and go with the H4N.
