Hi i was wondering if anyone could tell me how to make a really bouncy gabber bass kick such as the one in this track -Dj Paul Elstak Vs Dj Panic - Hate!
You can find this track on youtube if you type that in.
If anyone can help me with advice i would appreciate it. I have a 909 emulator- a drumazon d16 and also distortion plugins, but i can't get my kicks to bounce like they do in the gabber tracks. I have tried eq'ng the kicks, distorting and compressing them but i'm not getting it to sound right. I think i'm missing something out.
Anway thanks for reading and i hope i get a reply soon from someone.
Also if i can add a sample kick from a gabber track so people know what i mean i will do that too, but there is a good one in the track that i posted a link for above. Thanks.
If anyone is interested in making gabber with me or wants to send me an email about how to make a good kick my email is-

Benboncani can't get my kicks to bounceTry a VST valve ( tube) emulator in the chain and overdrive it.
I have tried that before but it didn't make it bouce it just distorted it. But thanks. I think i'll have to ask a gabber producer unless someone else on here knows.

This thread has a lot of good info for all kinds of kick synthesis but focuses on Psytrance and Goa kicks. Try the plug ins Devastator, Ohmicide, and get a sampler with concave envelopes, play with multiple samplers, layering, filtering and heavily EQing. Dip out some 360-380, cut all frequencies below 25-30hz. Put a little notch at 7k.
