I'm designing sound for a play in Dallas TX - It's set in London. I assure you the actors are doing their best not to sound like Dick VanDyke or some sort of psuedo-mockney (which might be a double neg...)
But I'm designing sound so, that's all I'm really concerned with.
I've found some great sounds of english gardens... vans... a lorry and some street sounds - but I need help with a few more...
Two instances of a little girl (10 to 12yrs) giggling. Not sure if giggling is regional... but she's supposed to be from the UK - London region would be best. 20 seconds or so of each cue.
1 instance of many children playing in a playground - UK again London region best - not necessary.
Lots of thanks and appreciation in advance!

Hi Freq
I am actually a cub leader and meet 15 or so cubs weekly. Cubs are the group below scouts aged 8 - 10. There is a girl (aged about 8/9) who is also a cub who i think would be willing to giggle.
The sound quality will not be amazing, merely average, but can upload them maybe saturday/sunday evening and depending on moderation times you could get it after that.
They meet in a hall and play games, so as for the children in a playground, i can get children in a hall?
Let me know,
Mike
Hey Streety -
Thanks, the age range sound PERFECT!
The giggling should be ok indoor or out.
I'd prefer the group of children to be at an outdoor playground - but I'll give it a listen first.
I'm looking forward to hearing it.

my children playing..
Streety - v. nice.
From what I heard in the first minute - it ought to work.
Too bad you couldn't get the giggling girl. I really need to have it by next wednesday...
For anyone else reading this post - To recap what I need. The sound is for a play in Dallas - a little girl 10 to 12 years old - playing and giggling. 10 to 20 seconds should be enough.
UK is preferred, but I'm sure giggling is fairly universal (or global at the very least).
