Hi,
I'm new here, and first I wish to say how wonderful this place is.
I work with blind children, and use this place to help the kids ... they love it .. and I love it.
I previously stumbled across a sample where a fellow rated hertz frequencies ... I believe he is English ... he'd say .... "This is 120 hertz:..", and then he'd play the frequency ... He gradually worked up the scale.
Alas .. I can't find it now .... Does anybody know of it?
Thanks for any help ... and again .. thanks for the wonderful site!!!
Is this it?

p.s. I've added some more tags to the sample to make it easier to find.
Wow, cool sample Mike! Check out the waveform:

Turns out I can hear up to 16 kHz, interesting.
Good to know it's going to such good use, too.
excellent, and colourful, having a listen now. Was thinking it would make a good tune..
edit: wierd, i can hear 14khz in my throat.... but can't hear 16khz, so 15 is my maximum, haha, and i can hear it really low at 19 and 20 khz in my headphones...
