Sound(s) of someone sitting on one . Found some nice chair scraping from Dobroide, very useful cheers! But nothing suitable for the sitting on of.

There's a canvas/wooden chair in the studio that might do the trick...

There is quite a lot of this sound Rich. There's people sitting down on chairs, plus the ambient sound of the odd creak while ppl are talking and etc. In general the recording wants to ambient ie not close miced if possibel.

...he can't mean proximity to rodents... I thought... Google has both 'close-miced' and 'close-miked'... so either's ok I guess.... internet = truth

I'll upload about 8 versions of 'chair-sitting' - and you can layer them, bring the level down and add space and distance with a hint of reverb.

Or someone else can... I've got a busy weekend ahead.
Soonest I can tinker will be Monday or so...

That reminds me of The Geddup Noise. Which is the opposite of what you're looking for (i.e. sitting down), and it's not CC licensed, but it's something that I enjoy...

All this talk makes me wanna git down with it. In hindsight, writing this post must've made me geddup but I've still yet to git down, a little late maybe now. Close miced might have been entertaining, but whatever ey. Wow there is a lot of rodents on google.
