Hi,
I'm a coder for the Modern Warfare 2 Medal of Honor modification (vide my sig). I'm currently working on flashbangs (stun grenades) and I need a sound similar to the ringing you hear when you're deafened by a blast or something. I've got one which comes from the True Combat Elite mod for Wolfenstein Enemy Territory, but they denied permission to use it. Anyway, I uploaded it here for reference - something similar, but about 10 seconds long, preferably loopable would be greatly appreciated and rewarded with a mention in the mod's credits.
Thanks in advance,
IneQuation
Just done it for you - uploaded and awaiting moderation. the tone i guessed was about 15k so there is 15 seconds of a loopable tone
Thanks a lot, m8, but that's not exactly what I'm looking for. It's a bit too low - what you did sounds like a 1,5kHz to me, and the original sounds like a mixture of 2,125 and 4,25kHz. It also has some low frequency heartbeat-like background sound. You gave me an idea, though, I think I can pull this off myself now that you wrote this can be done in Audacity. Thanks a lot!
ah no worries, sorry its the wrong one, typed into audacity wrong oops ><
