Tactical Operations: Crossfire team is looking for experienced sound FX Designers, to create realistic sound effects that make you feel like you are in a battle, we will also need some ambient noises, dynamic weather effects, radio transmissions and if possible voice acting (someone who can speak english with some russian accent would be ace )

Requirements:
-Must have advanced knowledge of Sound Design.
-Must have access to professional-grade equipment.
-Must have a sound library of his own

Recommended:
-Previous mod experience
-Good worth ethic and dedication.

I wonder how many of these sound designer calls actually get responses... none that I've seen on this forum at least.

I think it may be because freesound is what sound designers/recordists/artists etc. do in their free time, and don't feel like doing full-on pro bono work on random projects...

Perhaps it would be better to ask in various modding communities.

Well i got some responses here already, and at the moment we are analyzing some.
Even tho its what some do in free time, some other do it for fun probably or to gain experience, and theres nothing better than a mod to get some reputation increase since theres a player base comments and its a known project.

Good point! I guess it just seems like nobody answers at all just because nobody replies to the thread in public.
