Im looking for the sound of a child's jewelry box opening and another of it closing...the type of jewelry box that have the ballerina inside?

When you close these types of boxes, they have a particular sound (sort of a mechanism winding down or being stopped) and this is what Im after.

The notes have alot of resonanse to them but I'll see if I can tone them down a bit. You don't actually want the sound of the tune playing do you? Just the mechanism?

The music box that I have doesnt make too much mechanical sound when being opened or closed but i'll try recording it fully wound up and wound down.

Chronos: may as well post the sound too, if you get it during recording. Never know who might need it.

I'm looking around to see if I can find an old music box right now that might make a lot of mechanical noises for caffeene so I don't leave him/her empty handed :wink:
