Hello everyone,
I'm a student filmmaker, currently in my final year of college. More specifically I am a sound editor on a sci-fi type of thriller. It has a supernatural dreamy like theme. During the dream sequences there are many harsh cuts. I am looking for any type of sound to be used for these harsh cuts. Try to think of the Requiem for A Dream drug taking scenes, or even right before the credits roll on LOST. These types of sounds.
You'll of course be credited for your work in our film, and this film has festival buzz around it. So if you want to get your work out there now's a great chance.
Thanks a lot for your help.
Welcome to Freesound
I am sure you will get a reply soon.
In the meanwhile did you try the search function ?

There is more than prolly various sounds that would suit you well.
Take care.
i'm not a fan of lost - never appealed to me, so i am unaware of this sound. is it like an impact? or a harsh like radio static? white noise clip? any rough examples?

I'm not familiar with either of these. What kind of sounds are they ?
I don't know lost and don't remember requiem for a dream either (even if I just recall the sound design was awful), but I put some samples here that could possibly be useful.

These two sounds aren't really impact, but if that's the kind of thing you want, I think I own some other more percussive of that kind, maybe I can put it on freesound next week.

This is the trailer I made for the movie. Hope it gives you some sort of an idea. By the way Nurykabe I like those first 2 sounds a lot.
I gave it a shot and came up with a few sounds...
