Hi all,
i'm searching for a factory whistle which indicates that work(time) is over. You may have heard such a whistle in movies etc.
Can't find it anywhere...plse is there anyone that can help me out ?

Perhaps a train whistle could be substituted, maybe with a little pitch shift. Did you try a deep search?

Hi,
the first part of the sample sounds a bit like what i'm searching for but still isn't quite the thing. Thanx ayway.
Regards,
Pim
I listened to a recording of a factory whistle on sounddogs.com. So if you have an example from a moviesoundtrack or documentary it is easier to recreate.
There are some whistles here:

EDIT:
I found one very close to where I live...
