I'm looking for the inevitable deep, bassy "swoosh" or "swoom" sound found in film trailers, typically action or disaster movies. Sounds sort of like flame sweeping overhead, descending and sometimes with a tail pitch recurve to it. Anyone know what I'm talking about? I've tried looking for any relevant keyword I could think of, but just came up empty. It's not electronic, sounds more natural and sometimes rough, gravelly, not completely smooth.
If you find any movie trailers which contain what you think I mean, it'd be really helpful if you could post the link and tell when it is. Generally you hear them when the trailer transitions, though there are too many what-to-whats I can think of to list. Plus I don't know what it's normally used for.
Any ideas on what it's usually called, or how to make or synthesize it?
