My father used to put up a page from a newspaper up a bit in the chimney before lighting the fire. This generated such a sort of distinct flagioletted horn sound effect since the newspaper page (a full 2 pages actualy) was filling the chimney with hot smoke, and this gave the fire some extra energy. Can someone sample this and put it online? Prefered 44.1khz OGG format. This is most likely differences between fireplaces but it should be a metalic one. Would love if anyone could do this for me.
