Hi,
I know there are a few available but I'm looking for samples of what I've heard in movies during an helicopter crash like when one is spinning out of control and what have you, they alarm and 'woop woop' style audible alarms start playing..I'm interested in any that can be found. I've heard them in movies but I can't really place any in particular, hopefully someone can contribute some. There ARE some neat ones like on aviationringtones.com for example (however these are obviously not free, and furthermore I did not find the specific one that I like).
Kind Regards,

If you have the recording of the beep(legal or not),
just send it to me by PrivateMessage,
I can try to reproduce someS like it..
I recorded the following audio file from a movie:
www.megaupload.com/?d=NG9II1MX
But I was unable to filter the beep and put it into a loop.
Could anyone help me?
Thanks.
Have you ever tried recording the beeps your PC makes when it has no sound card? Ok they are not that good but closer to what you what. I have never tried this but it should be easy to create. For a start they are electronic sounds, created from a chip, and i believe what you looking for will be very close to a square wave (think about it, it's an alarm...on/off/on/off/on/off). So start with a square wave generator and then first try playing with the pitch and EQ. If it is still not quite trying adding sum FM or if you have the tools (Z3TA) waveshaping. This will create a less standard square wave. Depending on the sound you want, you might need 2 sounds, one at a lower pitch to the other annd then alternate between the two. Once you have the basic sound you want, worldise it...
