Looking for "single hit" samples. I mean samples of for example a single clean piano key press (with a known note would be nice), with no background hiss. I am making a Facebook application which is a tiny tracker people can use to send short melodies to each other. I thought finding the samples for it would be the most trivial part, but it has turned out to be the most time consuming one!
I would need a piano sample, a guitar sample and 13 different "funny" sounds like cat's meow or such. I already purchased a proloops subscription and found some drum samples there, but they all have hiss. Could use them if nothing better turns up.
I could even pay a bit to get them quickly, but the most suitable looking sample pack I found cost $399 I can't pay quite that much.
Update: I did spend around half an hour on this site looking, found all kinds of "creepy" piano sounds but not a single normal clean-cut hit
Give me your email adress by PM and I can send some mp3 samples ( I can't upload them, they're not mine)...they don't sound so bad but there's a big pop at the end, which can easily be removed with Audacity, but it's like 7 in the morning and I'm feeling lazy ops:
P.S. This question is in no way anoying, it's a Sample request forum after all
Thanks for the offer, but I am only interested in properly licensed samples. Here's a work-in-progress of what they are for: http://fi.bemmu.com/facebook/minimelody/app.html
Wow that's gonna be crazy when it's finished, and, having just reread your first post, I could probably record my guitar for you. Please just tell me what notes you want.
You can get FREE royalty free Piano samples here:

Just select Piano.
Have you used the search function on this site yet? There are a lot of guitar samples so I figured you would be able to find the notes you're looking for. There's also quite a few piano samples on here too if you don't like the site posted above.
Have you tried this pack by "Harri" ?
