I just know that someone's bound to have asked for this before, but I'm after that gorgeous sound you get in the background listening to vinyl records. I wish I'd never got rid of my old records and that. I wouldn't even know what to type into the sample search box?
If you are familiar with vst's, there is a free plugin called Vinyl from iZotope...
you can get it here:
Not as flexible as using a plugin, but I uploaded a small section of LP noise this weekend. My partner in studio says he has an LP which is blank, with one side 'clean' and the other scratched to hell. I may upload sections of that if it does not conflict with CC. If you were to pick various points to loop this, you could extend its duration as much as you may require.
It shouldn't conflict whit CC, since I don't think you can copyright silence (altough the techno group Covenant did do a song called "You can make your own music" which is about four and a half minutes of silence!)
Realistically it would be ok, but this was an official release as far as I am aware and would therefore be copyrighted. How you would prove it I don't know, especially the scratch side which was done in-house.
I think my buddy said it was called "The Wit and Wisdom of Ronald Reagan"
