Hello there!
The most cool and impressive sound effect most be the deep, rumbling whoosh that are used in alot of trailers. The sound really makes films impressive with a nice sorround system, and therefore i'm looking for that sound. I've been searching and searching and i've only stumbled upon a few sounds on Sounddogs that i've bought. They're okay, but not exactly what i'm looking for. So i hope you can help me if you have a link, some ideas about what i can search for, if you have the sound or some pages that i could give a try with a search.
Here's an example of the sound in action. Film: Reservation Road, trailer: apple[dot]com/trailers/focus_features/reservationroad/hd/
(Sorry for no direct link, but the forum does not allow me to post with that.)
At 00:20 at the Focus Features logo we have a more gentle version of the sound i'm looking for. Its not at a high volume, but its a deep frequency sound effect.
At 00:28 we have exactly the sound i'm looking for. Deep, rumbling, whoosh, low frequency sound but very short.
The second trailer, i think, for "300" also has exactly the same sound.
I appretiate your help. Thanks!

You could mix these two samples, I think they would make a good sound for what you are looking for.
