Howdy! I'm directing another children's play. It's a western melodrama (think Dudley Do-Right, only not Canadian) . I need some scene change interlude pieces of solo piano with that classic melodrama sound...like its being played in an old west saloon. I need probably about 20-second pieces as follows:

1. Happy saloon music.
2. Dramatic bad guy entry.
3. Bad guys plotting.
4. Entry of wise Native American shaman.
5. Something terrible has happened.
6. Heroes to the rescue.
7. Victorious saloon music.
8. General scene change interludes.

Also some brief, 2-3 second piano moments:

1. Collective gasp
2. Punch line
3. Angelic moment

I may need more...it's fun and creative and I'll be happy to give anyone (and Freesound!) credit in the program. Let me know if you're interested...or just post some! I did a search on melodrama and came up empty. Searched on piano and came up with a bazillion.

Ah, great minds! I just found that pack shortly ago. Thank you so much! They are great. I think I'll PM Freqman and see if he has any more. They are darn near perfect.

I just uploaded a few. One is a set of songs from the "Follies of 1910", the other is for the "entry of the wise Native American shaman". They are currently waiting for moderation.

You can slice up the Follies file to get a lot of what you want, I think.

I'm still figuring out the best way to record the piano. I'm not happy with the results but its all I have time for right now.

If you've got a player piano you could really be my hero...of course, it'll cost me.

I will see if I can re-record a longer segment sometime - probably in a week or so.

I've uploaded a massive dramatic piano hit good to have handy when some evil dudes are revealing their ingenious plot. It'll be some time until the sample is available. Either I will, or maybe an admin can post the sample here once it is aproved.
