hello! I'm desperately looking for sounds of extremely massive objects or structures colliding 'n dropping, - massive booms, disastrous impacts, etc. I would also appreciate any instructions of 'do-it-yourself' kind.

Do a search for "mt st helens" on this site and you'll find my recording of the May 18, 1980 eruption plus some remixes.
This is the sound of 3.7 billion cubic yards of mountain being launched into the air. Doesn't get much more massive than that.
