Yeah.

It's sort of an unusual request and I don't expect that anyone here will have any sounds, but I'm looking for noises like the recordings of magnetospheres and space dust you can find at http://www.spacesounds.com/

(Yes, I know, I should just buy theirs, but I'm very broke.) Does anyone have any of these, or sounds very similar to them?

I dont know why you need them, but listening to them they dont sound all that difficult to re-create with a synth and some basic fx's.

the last one especially has some sounds with some of the characteristics of the rf noises and electromagnetic whistles of that site. I noticed it recently and this post reminded me that I forgot it already... I'll be making lots more soon...

It's for a Flash project I'm working on--they make really good creepy "atmosphere", especially the magnetosphere recordings. Unfortunately, I only have minimal resources to create sounds with on this computer--if I could, I'd make some myself, but I can't.

actually there are no sounds in space...

sound travels by making molecules vibrate. So, in order for sound to travel, there has to be something with molecules for it to travel through. On Earth, sound travels to your ears by vibrating air molecules. In deep space, the large empty areas between stars and planets, there are no molecules to vibrate. There is no sound there.

Ah the sound is there alright, you just need to get it to your ear. Try pressing your ear against the sun next time you're out that way!

Actually you don't need to press your ear against the sun to hear sun sounds. There is plenty molecules travelling around the sun, you just have to get close enough to hear that bastard roar.
