I know that's a really unhelpful description but I need the sound made at the end of horror scene (or spoof) before the adverts. You know the sort - the man with a knife creeps into the apartment of the single women and just before he does someting bad you get the de du der music and a commercial break.
I have tried searching but not got anywhere - any help would be gratefully appreciated.
Thanks,
Bob.
Like high pitched strings hits? Or more of a low dramatic prhrase like this one? http://freesound.iua.upf.edu/samplesViewSingle.php?id=45654
Simon,
That's not at all bad considering the description I gave. The sample is to be used in an amateur dramatics play for a murder mystery and is used at the end of a scene where something happens that might give a clue to the murderer. The sample could be improved by raising the last note by 7 or 8 semitones so it sounds more like a question mark than a dramatic statement. It could also do with being about twice as long.
Your help is much appreciated.
Thanks,
Chorley Bob
