I found sample pack PPG MULTISAMPLE 022 Claviwave by Jovica and that's sorta what I have in mind. Somewhere someone must have made a couple of octaves worth of the 12-tone scales (C,C#,D,D#,E,F,F#,G,G#,A,A#,B). Being neither a musician nor a digital sound person I'm a bit uncertain of what to ask for, but would be interested in very short clips of very simple single spread across two or three octaves.
I have found some sites which distribute "SoundFonts" (which seem like they might be what I'm looking for) but these tend to be in a screwball format (SF2) which requires special software which doesn't seem to recognize operating systems more current than DOS.
Am quite new to Freesound, so might suggest you reply to david(period)dailey(at)sru(period)edu -- since I don't know if I can find my way back to this place.
PS is the main language of instruction at UPF Catalan?
Search the word "multisample" and you will find those kinds of sound files. Or go to "TAGS" and click on "Multisample". Hope you find your way back to read this, good luck!
