I have the program Analogue Vista clock and selected an old clock with Roman figures. The program offers an option to add chime sounds.
Do you know of any single sound download like and old pendulum clock?
Some kind of a Ding-Dong, but only one time.
The program automatically sounds the correct number of strokes (like 8 times at 8 o'clock).

Have you tried searching? There's plenty of such sounds here. If you can't find a clock striking 1, then use a program like the free Audacity to extract the bit you need.

Yes Boss, I tried searching: for hours and hours and I found some things that where not that great. But if you're such a hot shot, then perhaps give me a clue? If not, I consider your reply as quite useless.

Mind you, most clocks just go "Dong" on the hour, or is it "Ding" ?
