might be able to do congas today, I'm not much of a percussionist... do you want stereo or mono? I suppose I could do both. Hopefully I'll have them for you later. Worse comes to worse I could have them by Saturday here (GMT +9).
EDIT - also, what sort of tempo am I doing, and how long of a crescendo? Hope I can get this right!
Uploaded, awaiting moderation. Hope they're good enough to use! Sorry it took so long, had them recorded but no time to upload on the weekend.
EDIT - Thought I'd mention, if they're not good enough let me know, I've got a friend who is much better with percussion than I am and I'm sure I could coax him into doing them.
I also just uploaded some samples of bongo & conga rolls, samples, short grooves, etc. 24bit/44,1 stereo. Some are also with reverberation and bongos with vintage reverb simulation. I also tuned lower and higher - bongos are both lower and higher tuned in the same sound clip.
At ca. 50sec. you have a classic crescendo bongo roll I think. Otherwise you can add some "fade in" to increase the crescendo effect on other rolls.
