Hi dear Freesounders,

my request isn't dyrectly related to sound, but I think that this community has a great potential to help me:

One my friend is working on a windows application designed for visually impaired. The aim is to provide a mechanism for rewieving geographic data and make sure to imagine how world arround look. Basically, one can use arrow keys to browse the map and screen reader will speak information about located country, city and so on. We want to make things more interesting, so we decided to play some background music. We would like to use music which represents currently rewieved country or area, for example continent. We are looking for instrumental music or also singing in national language. The project is noncommercial, so we need to reduce costs related to music. We are communicating with music organisations about that, but I believe, that somewhere on the internet, we can find CC licensed music for our purpose.
So, you know our idea, here are my questions:
Can you recommend sites where can I find cc licensed music for our purpose? I tryed jamendo and other sites but it seems that many authors produce electronic genre.
Any ideas how to find country specific music on those sites?
