Hello Forum!
So for very long I wondered how these hissing/sizzling static sounds are made in scenes, well, where there's electric current. A similar sound can be achieved my making this "tshhhh" sound with your mouth, which recorded and changed still can't reach what is used in games/movies.
I can't really provide a sample here since, as I stated, have no real idea yet how to achieve this very sound.
I use Audacity with the LADSPA library and the Nyquist plugin pack. So if any of these effects can achieve that, it would be great if you could share your knowledge.
And if there are physical or other ways of achieving it, please let me know since I'm really stuck here.
Also I have tried to change white noise with flangers and etc., but nothing...
Thank you very much in advance,
Nicistarful.
