i have a youtube channel show sound effects only
i wanna use sound effects creative commons 0 from this website
Could it be that the copyright violations in my channel youtube , if i say the source of sound ?

So long as the sounds are Creative Commons 0 License (basically "Public Domain"), then you are free to do whatever you like with them. You can read about it here:

If you are simply taking the sounds and uploading them on their own to YouTube without any modification, I do recommend you credit the original source as you already noted (although, this is not mandatory with the CC0 license, but it is always nice to give the original creators some appreciation!).

The solution really is to not use the sound if you think there might be a copyright issue. But you can of course try to hunt down the original creator and ask for permission.

Could you possibly give us a link to the sound?

As I already said, all of the sounds that have the CC0 license are in the public domain, and won't bring any copyright issues if you use them, even for financial gain (unless the original creator has any extra conditions in the description of the sound).

So you shouldn't receive any copyright issues if you use a sound that is under a CC0 license.

i understand that majority of sounds here are free , but exist Some members Whose upload sound effect (copyrighted) from other site to this site under creative commons 0 ,

Sounds uploaded to this site do go through moderation before they can be downloadable, so the moderators do check if an uploaded sound breaches copyright in any way.

But with that said, there are always some that will slip through, although I reckon this is very rare. There isn't really a way to check this other than to just search for similar sound effects on Google or elsewhere and see if you find a match.

It would also help if you gave us a link to the sound you wanted to use from this site, as I and anyone else reading could do a little bit of searching to test whether it is the original.

I reckon you will be fine, and won't have to worry about any potential copyright issues.

There is another YouTube channel that also occasionally uploads some sounds from this site. Although in his case, he would sometimes upload sounds that originally had an Attribution license and then not give credit, which in that case would merit a copyright issue. Thankfully, he does now give credit.

But as you will be mainly using CC0 sounds, you shouldn't run into any copyright issues because the sounds are public domain, and you can do whatever you want with them.

If someone does give you a copyright notice, it is most likely just someone taking advantage of the ridiculous YouTube copyright system, even if you are using the sounds correctly. If that ever happens, you can file a dispute on the video that got copyrighted, and it should be resolved in a few days (take that with a grain of salt - I don't manage YouTube videos, so I don't have much experience there).

but this case happen with me , youtube send me a notice copyright (automaticaly) , i do Counter Notification , because i use that sound from your website in public domaine Although that i sent him url of sound in public domaine , It did not accept the evidence , and the copyright notice is still existe. i remove the video from my channel , it happen before one month ago
