Helly everyone,
I'm once here again in the forum section because I need your help.
I've always been a huge fan of Wizards of Waverly Place and even today it's still one of my favourite shows.
But one thing that always fascinated me was: The Sound Effects.
Yes, the magical sounds used in the show.

This link directs to a video containing 6 sound samples.
Now, how were those sounds created?
And is it possible to reproduce them?
I'd love to hear your recreations and find out what produces these sounds!

I tried a Granulator I found and downloaded. Used it on all sorts of sounds. From everyday things making sounds to complicated electric zap and burts sounds, tried all sorts of stuff and can't get even remotely close to the sounds...
It's quite difficult to find out how a sound was created. Editing is just playing with parameters and seeing what you can do, but finding out the source and the process is hard.
Just bumping this aswell a bit, maybe someone else knows something?
P.S. Thanks Stomachache, I didn't know about Granulators before and they are useful for other sorts of editing, creating cool and unique sounds.
The IMDB page lists the sound crew for the show. It displays the sound designer's name as T.C. Spriggs. He has a public facebook page. I suppose you could message him and ask if he recalls the origin of the sound. Maybe it's from a sample library, maybe him or one of the crew made it, maybe he forgot. But you might as well drop him a line if you really want.
