I need the sound of a flight of birds (pigeons or other birds) flying up after they are being startled by a loud noise, i don't need the loud noise itself.

Don't forget that combining some of these sounds together will also produce some good results.

Or if you have some recording equipment, find your thickest leather gloves and slap them together as energetically as you can muster and that should produce a similar sound.
