About a year ago my hard drive failed, along with it all the samples and sounds I had created over the years. I was wondering if it is possible to reach out to the freesound community that downloaded those sound packs to help me get them back. If you have them, please message me. Thanks!
Its hard to say which sample packs I am talking about as its been so long.
But anything that isn't in my sound library already.
One of the sought after ones I would love have back is my piano loops pack 1 & 2.
If anyone has them still, hit me up.
Thanks for your help!
Not my old sound packs though.
I wiped all my sounds off freesound about 3 years ago in 2015 to restart and start fresh.
Everything I have uploaded on freesound.org after 2015 I still have but everything before that I do not.
So I found a way to get some of my sounds back.
Using Wayback Machine it takes a snap shot of websites.
Granted freesound doesn't have the sound on server side anymore, I can still self record some of them back. Can't download them ;(. So if anyone like me lost their sounds there is still a possible option. Bleh, also shameless bump if anyone has those old sounds of mine ;*)
Nothing on my hard drive - already looked.
I did record some Freesound samples to CD (before I had a large backup drive). I think I know where the CDs are. Will dig them out. We should know in a few days if they contain any of your old samples.
Thanks AlienXXX, much obliged.
No big deal if they aren't there, just be nice to have em back.
