I'm looking for a downloadable recording of a European tit flock, for use in the field. If anyone knows of one I'd be very grateful if they'd direct me to it.
Tit flocks form at this time of the year, attracting a number of species, mostly Blue & Great Tits. They are often accompanied by a Coal Tit & one or two of other species, such as Great Spotted Woodpecker, possibly some finches, Treecreeper, Goldcrest, Chiffchaff. They hunt communally in woods & sometimes gardens, using calls to communicate.
These association persist until the next breeding season, i.e. all through autumn & winter.
