Hello everyone,
This is my first post here. I thought this would be the best place to ask as there are thousands of different sound samples created by various users. My request is rather a unique one and hope someone can help me reproduce this sound exactly or better find me the original source.
I am looking for a sound effect of the alien beacon being played at the start of the movie "Independence Day: Resurgence". I have actually recorded that part for reference (see link below). The sound is a very unique one and I tried searching on the internet but could not find any ,can someone actually create this? Thanks!

This should be quite close:

Since there was no reference, it was kind of hard to compare back and forth between a possible substitution sound and the original. And listening to it in the film opening sequence, it is kind of drowned out by other sounds most of the time. To me, it sounds like a tone burst of about 300 ms that is modulated by a low frequency (between 20 and 30 Hz), with some diffuse echo at about 3/4 of a second (maybe it was longer, can't remember). Your hearing/interpretation may vary. But something like this should be relatively easy to reproduce, depending on exactly what you want, or what aspects of it are important to you. I went ahead and uploaded two similarly-built sounds, but they are not intended to truly replicate the original sound -- they just follow a similar recipe -- one lower pitch and one higher pitch. Either may or may not be of use to you.
Shift pitch, re-sample, or re-create your own and space as needed.
