We are developing a simulated dynamite blast at the end of a mine tunnel in the Sterling Hill Mining Museum. We need a multiple of 8 blasts, short duration and approx. 1 to 2 second gap between each for a grand total of eight shots. Think of a wall in a mine, 8 drilled holes loaded with blasting agents and sequentially ignited. The simulation is for tours to schools and colleges. Visuals include xenon flash lamps in the existing old holes for the blast effect, a good speaker system with sub woofers and possible fog too. Specs on what the audio system needs to work with is a 16 bit file at 44KHz sample rate in mono, not stereo. If you have any thoughts to improve the idea I'll listen. But thanks in advance for any help since I'm having a little trouble finding something close to this.

Check this out: sterlinghillminingmuseum.org/
Ah I see I left out the units - lol Seconds. one to two seconds between blasts would be just fine. I'm involved in many things (volunteering) with this facility and my mind gets twisted at times. Sorry for the confusion. Thanks for any effort on your part!
Eric
Try this:

Let me know if it is unsuitable.
The gap between the end of the blast to the beginning of the next is 1 second, that can be changed if you like.
Benboncan, I forwarded it to the boys so they can check it out Thanks!! Sounds good so far but I will let them be the judge
Eric
Benboncan, A nice effort and thanks for that! One final request, could you possibly reduce the delays between the blasts to 1/3 of what you have them set for? After the guys listened to it they liked it but wondered if it was indeed a bit too long between blasts. All said that would probably work for us and would call it a wrap after that
Thanks again!!
Eric

0.3 of a second
Benboncan, Thanks a bunch for youe efforts! I forwarded the file just now to the guys. I'll see the response in a couple days and let you know
