Hello guys,

I'm looking for the sound of an unopened bottle of wine being broken on a floor fairly aggresively.

Any ideas?

What do you think I should look for? What do you think it would sound like?...

It's for a film we're writing the music for but we're sourcing a few FX for them too. Don't know what the floor is yet... I'm guessing tiled.

You could create this sound by mixing several tiny glassbreak samples plus a spash of water.

Yup. I think though a wine bottle is quite heavy, especially a full one. I think there would be quite a loud thud as well.

I made one yesterday, with a glass shattering and a wooden crate being smashed. Sounds ok.. almost there.

All you need is the sound of the fluid spilling all over. I needed a thumping sound of a barrel filled with Toxic waste put down on a metalic floor. I did this by combining a thump that somebody had uploaded, a bit of boiling water downpitched and the fizzling noise heard when someone fries some food. You could check these sounds and maybe use them as a complement. I have these barrels stored as Barrels 1 - Toxic.
