Hey there! It's been a while since my last posts, but anywayzzz I'm back with an idea in mind :twisted:

I'd like to make a song using samples from around here, but instead of me going through the huuuge database (btw, great job on that! can't be mentioned often enough :wink: ), YOU give me a link to a sample of yours!

So just reply with a sample of yours that you like or that you'd enjoy hearing in a song and I'll do my best to make a song worthy of it!

I think it would be fair that everyone posts just one or two samples and do check out the ones that others already posted before so that I dont end up with too many similar samples (I would need percussions, soundscapes,...)

Euh and needless to say that I'll be modifying the samples, right?

excellent samples schluppipuppie & connum!! really thx, these are very workable (yes, connum even yours shouldnt pose so much trouble !

harri, as for the deadline...I have no idea what the response to this would be, so I'm closely monitoring the reactions and I will close this topic when I have enough samples to work with. I think there's enough space for +/- 5 more samples, depending on their usability.

So in addition to the previous, I could still use some noisy stuff to use as percussions and maybe some sweeps...surprise me!

Oh and ofcourse, in accordance to the CC-rights, I'll mention the author-names in the song's description and I'll notify them with a pm and put a post with the link in the freesound-forum. :wink:

I'm afraid not my friend...my harddrive died on me two months ago and haven't been making much music since that traumatic day. but now that you bring it up, I'll give it a new shot after I've finished a few running projects. *makes mental note and bookmarks this thread*

edit: I just recalled an unfinished version that I once uploaded, you should be able to hear it here . As I said before, due to the HDcrash I lost the workingfiles, so next version will be a lot different.
