Hello, not posted before so hope I came to the right place.
I'm currently finishing the sound fx for a short Film.
I've recorded everything again myself (one man band and all that) I'm just short of a wheel barrow recording (stereo & mono instances 48K 24BIT would be grand!). I dont have any fx stock that sounds right to make it myself (to complete the job properly that is) Can be old and rusty -I like the wheel squeeks and the rattle from the barrow bin. Being a bit of a got to do it right person I'll add- the shoot is in the UK- the load on the barrow is soil / earth that's moved for 3 secs then poured onto grass.
If anyone can help me out with some files I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks in advance,
Lee.

The load gets dumped onto grass, but is the barrow also rolling on grass alone?
Hey,
Barrow moves about two feet across bumpy grass. It is then lifted by handles to a vertical postion, soil rolles off onto grass.
Thanks in advance,
Lee

Ok. The only thing impeding me right now is I don't have a soil/sand load to work with. If a good alternative comes to mind I will do one up.
If you've got a wheel barrow and nothing else that's fine. It's more about the barrow movemement, I'm being a little greedy.
Thanks in advance,
Lee
I’ve made a loop of a wheelbarrow pitched squeak … http://www.freesound.org/samplesViewSingle.php?id=71704
It’s a bit from FreqMan’s recording ... http://www.freesound.org/samplesViewSingle.php?id=43593

Hi Timbre,
Very nice of you to take the time to do this man. The problem isn't with the sqeaks (althought they are part of it) it's the over-all sound of a wheel barrow. The rattle that I hear from memory and in my head is unlike a sound I can think of.
I'm going to have to try something as I'm mixing the film this Thursday.
Thanks again Timbre.
Anyone else that has an idea or a actual barrow sound, I'd really appreciate your help.
Thanks!

I'll do it for you as soon as the wind dies down. Loaded wheelbarrows on grass are pretty quiet though. How about gravel?
Ah- that's great Benboncan!
What would be really nice are a few clunky sounds, the metal legs at the rear hit the floor. Fine, if you can do it on concrete - I'll edit it all in to work anyway.
Thanks so much.
Lee
Well the wind did die down a bit and Biggles eventually pissed off so I got it done.

Hi Benboncan,
Thanks very much for this. I ended using a bit of the tipping and metal bangs. I've told Prod to put your link in the credits.
Very kind of you man!
All the best,
Lee
