I know... this is a cheesy way to ask, but honestly, knowing someone wants a sample helps get me to step up and get my recording gear out.
Post recording requests you have and I'll do my best to get you some and post them.
I mostly do field recordings / etc. I've done music before, but there's more equipment I'd need to get out of my garage.

I'm game for that - you thinking something that's a low note? Or a field recording of something that registers with a ton of bass?
Haha good point - I think a Large Mouth Bass would be a good fit.
Hey there, I enjoy making animations and have used freesound for years for my audio. This might be a tall order, but Id love to hear anything that sounds like rocket ships flying by, hovering, landing. Any audio you could record that gives that impression! Also a few doppler effects of ships whizzing by. Is that too much to ask?? haha!

There are various 'types' of spacecraft and so many ways to generate pacecraft sounds. - From the 'wowowowowo' sound of UFOs on 60s movies, to the sound of wizing X-wing fighters of Star Wars.
I suggest a good place to start would be recording sounds of hairdryers and/or vacuum cleaners. Then process and or layer these sounds. Pitching sounds up/down is also a good trick.
You may add a synth layer with a 'buzz' or 'swish' sound to make it sound more alien.
Another alternative is to process the hairdryer/vacuum cleaner sound with a filter with the cutoff being modulated by an LFO to create a pulsating spaceship engine sound.
Hopefully this gives some ideas to try.
Unfortunately I am too busy at the moment to do any sound design.
Thanks for the request and for the ideas on how to get that effect. I'll keep an ear out for something that can mimic a passing jet.
Also great suggestions / ideas on how to use some household appliances to get some interesting sounds, Alien.

Okay, so I just uploaded a bunch of fun space and whizzing sounds. They're going through moderation right now, but yeah, let me know if those work for you

Some sort of low resonant bass would be pretty cool
